# Release Notes

Release Date: November 2025

These release notes describe the key changes to Illumina Preset Protocols (IPP) v2.11.

## Compatibility

Refer to [Compatibility](/instruments-and-integrations/compatibility.md#illumina-preset-protocol) under Instruments & Integrations.

## New Features & Updates

* The updated MiSeq i100 Series Sequencing v2.0 protocol supports MiSeq i100 Series Integration Package v1.1.0 and MiSeq i100 Series On-Prem Integration Package v1.1.0.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Conflicts may occur when upgrading from IPP v2.10 to IPP v2.11 due to new sequencing workflow for MiSeq i100 Series. Refer to [IPP Integration v2.11 Manual Upgrade](/illumina-preset-protocols/ipp-v2.11/ipp-v2.11.0-manual-upgrade.md) for details.
{% endhint %}

* Added new parameters (`--removeOnPremConfig` and `--removeUPA`) to Illumina Preset Protocol Installer. Refer to [Illumina Preset Protocols v2.11 Installation and User Configuration](/illumina-preset-protocols/ipp-v2.11/ipp-v2.11.0-installation-and-user-configuration.md#installer-parameters-and-operations) for details.

## Known Issues

Importing workflows from IPP on Clarity v6.2 and v6.3 requires longer time (\~8 times longer) compared to earlier versions (Clarity v6.1 and below). This issue is fixed in Clarity v6.3.1.
