# NextSeq 1000/2000 v2.1.0

The following release notes detail the key changes to software components for the Clarity LIMS NextSeq 1000/2000 Integration package since v2.0.

This optional software update is for customers interested in the new features available with this new release.

If upgrading from a version prior to v2.0, review NextSeq 1000/2000 Integration v2.0 Release Notes for a list of features and bug fixes introduced in that version.

## Compatibility

* Clarity LIMS v5.3 and later
* NextSeq 1000/2000 Instrument Control Software v1.1 through 1.4
* NGS Extensions Package v5.20.3
* Illumina Preset Protocol (IPP) v2.2.0

## New Features

This release of the Clarity LIMS integration package:

* Supports P1 and P3 reagents.
* Supports multiple DRAGEN Analysis versions
  * 3.5.6
  * 3.5.8
  * 3.7.4
  * 3.8.4
* ProjectName is now included in sample sheet v2 generated by the system to support Illumina Connected Analytics integration.

## Defect Repairs

* Race condition observed when the final run primary metrics were retrieved from BSSH is now fixed.
* The configure\_sis\_gss.sh script now only updates application properties upon success.

## Known Issues

* When the disk space is full on instrument, a sequencing run error is triggered. This error causes the generation of an empty RunParameters.xml, and the run event is not processed in Clarity LIMS. The occurrence of this error is mitigated by the on instrument prerun checks that assess the available disk space.

## Limitations

For the demultiplexing information in the Sample Details table to display correctly, the following conditions must be met:

* The DRAGEN version must be earlier than v3.9.3.
* The samples in the run must not repeat.
* The run must be for the single lane flow cell (P1 or P2).
